A lil' update from us:
We've spent so many months in the "magical dark" period and we're just now starting to see some movement which is VERY welcome. For those unaware of the magical dark, it is the period of time where you are working on new things and creating new projects/abundance/etc. but there is no external evidence that your work is paying off.
It's a space I have been in many times before, though admittedly, with more anxiety in the past. This time we have collectively surrendered to the ebbs and flows of this ceremony.
We are continuing to steadily work on our course offerings and new products. Excited to share them with you all!
A note on this New Moon from Winter Jendayi, our in house Astro expert:

We are BIG FANS of Winter. We have shared ceremonial space with her, gotten multiple readings from her and are big fans of her music. We highly recommend checking out her work!

Scents for Virgo
Since Virgos perfectionism can turn into anxiety, we’re balancing this powerhouse energy with relaxing scents.
Clean florals and woodsy scents like lily of the valley, gardenia, jasmine, lemongrass, cedar and marigold are absolutely perfect for this new moon.

Colors and Fabrics for Virgo
Virgo is traditionally associated with the image of a young woman carrying wheat. What this means for Virgo energy is that there are strong associations with both the earth and agriculture. Appropriately, green and gold are your go-to colors for this new moon.
While both have associations with the natural world (green for earth + gold for wheat) they also double as colors of luck and prosperity. That makes them the perfect compliments for all of your new moon ambitions!
For fabrics, think about Virgo’s practical yet beauty-loving side. Why choose between form and function when you can have both? Try the ever-versatile cotton in bold prints, denim, or even fall favorites like tweed and corduroy that will give you those “back-to-school” vibes. You can also opt for fabrics that are sturdy and comfortable but are still filled with gorgeous patterns and colors.
Gemstones for Virgo
Green tourmaline is a great stone for health, fresh starts and abundance. It also encourages patience and invites openness Calcite, especially yellow or orange, can help alleviate mental anxiety and open up your mind for creativity and learning. Fluorite cleanses, improves concentration, encourages decision making (with confidence) and acts as an excellent stress reliever. Howlite is also wonderful at absorbing anxiety and calming the mind. Choose any of these according to how you want to tap into the Virgo energy.

Card Spread for the Virgo New Moon
For this card spread we are metaphorically "cleaning house". It's time to shake things up a bit. Out with the old + stagnant energy, in with the new + vibrant.
1. What needs to be cleared out of my life entirely?
2. What can I box up- or place on pause- to deal with at a more suitable time?
3. What have I been hoarding/holding onto too tightly that needs released?
4. What aspects of my life are calling for a fresh, new approach?
5. Where should I redecorate or add to my life now that I've decluttered?

Ritual for the Virgo New Moon
These days many of us work and play on the same digital devices- which means we’re often attached to our phones and computers all day.
With Virgo pushing us to go go go, this can mean we’re even more attached to our devices. This new moon we’re challenging you to counter that attachment with a device detox ritual. This is a difficult but rewarding challenge for those who are willing to participate.
The ideal time to do this is on a day when you aren’t working and don’t need to be contacted by anyone. The goal is to go a full 24 hours without your phone, or other electronic device you're feeling attached to. While 24 hrs is the goal, you can adapt it to be a shorter time frame if that feels more manageable.
Ritual tools: White candle
Hermit tarot card
(or any tarot/oracle card of your choice)
Cloth or boxes for your device(s)
Step 1: Decide on the day and device(s) you want to detox from. Going without your phone may be plenty of work to start, but perhaps you've been using your computer, tablet, television, video games, etc as a distraction. You may want to try and detox from those devices as well.
Now go to your altar or another calming space and bring your devices with you (with the obvious exception of things like TVs or other large devices).
Step 2: Light your white candle to activate its cleansing abilities. As you look at the flame, meditate on what you’d like to do now that you're not using your device. Maybe it's your focusing spiritual growth, or cultivating more face to face interactions. Maybe you want to open up your heart more or start a new creative project! Whatever you haven’t been as dedicated to as you would like, concentrate on that.
Step 3: Now pull out the hermit card, or other card of your choosing and keep this card with you in place of your device by placing it wherever the electronic would traditionally be. This might be in your pocket, your purse, or just out on a table next to you. Next, wrap your device in a cloth or place it in a box and store it near your altar or sacred space. Now, blow out the white candle.
Step 4: For the next 24 hours focus on the things you meditated on and try your best to not use your device. Every time you feel the urge to use your device, pull out the hermit card instead and look at mediate. Think about the meaning behind your card and let the desire to check/use your device pass.
Step 5: Once the 24 hours- or the amount of time you committed to- have passed, return to your altar and light the white candle again. This time, meditate on how you felt during this period. Allow yourself to feel, without judgement. Take out the hermit or card of choice, unwrap your device and place it back in its normal place (pocket, bag, table, etc.)
Then ask yourself these questions: How will you use this device going forward? Will you use it less, for different reasons, in conjunction with other tools, etc.? Do you think this time away was helpful or not? What small steps can you take to limit your device time in the future? Do you feel like you were able to focus on other things?
Tips: If you choose to detox from your phone- You may NEED to have it on you for emergency purposes. If you’re worried about being out in the world without a phone or you’re waiting on an important message you may want to instead silence your phone or turn it off but keep it with you, alongside the tarot card. You can check it periodically just to make sure you haven’t missed a call/message, but try to avoid actively using it. If turning off your phone completely doesn't feel good for safety reasons, consider logging out of all social media or other apps that you find yourself using constantly. Limit the phones function to txt/calls only so that you can still be reached. This may be more difficult than not having it on your at all, or even shutting it off, but it is also a good test of your willpower.
**The next 24 hours may be very difficult for you and that’s okay. There’s no shame in this. Social media, for instance, is designed for us to be obsessed and to keep coming back. So if you're feeling a sort of withdrawal that is completely normal. Even though phones can be a terrible time suck, they're undoubtedly a really great tools for socialization, art, activism, and yes, even our jobs. However, we know they can create an unhealthy neediness. How often is it the first thing you reach for in the morning? This ritual can be a great reset but it may be tougher for some people. If you can’t make it 24 hours don’t be hard on yourself! You can always try again at a different time or even work your way up to longer and longer periods without your device. Remember- DON’T judge yourself. Instead, concentrate on what feelings came up during this time and how you want to move lessoning your dependance on electronics as a distraction from living your life.
